Mondo will be the Official Global Supplier of competition equipment for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship which is being held in Budapest from 11th to 13th September, bringing together the world’s best athletes in an innovative format designed to redefine the athletics experience.
Athletes will be competing on MONDOTRACK, the surface that was installed at Budapest’s National Athletics Centre for the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
In addition, one of the most innovative aspects of the World Athletics Ultimate Championship is the new stage concept developed by World Athletics. The entire field of play has been designed as a true performance stage, where every element contributes to reinforcing the event’s identity. This ranges from the competition surfaces and visual graphics to the athletics equipment itself, all conceived to become an integral part of both the broadcast experience and the live spectacle.
Mondo has developed an exclusive customisation of its athletics equipment, adapting it to the championship’s visual identity, which includes hurdles, high jump and pole vault landing systems, distance indicators, implement carts, technical supports, athlete benches with LED screens and a number of other competition elements.
The equipment will be part of the event’s visual language, enhancing every television shot while enriching the experience for athletes and spectators alike.
