The World Athletics Indoor Championships 2024 was awarded Best Sporting Event and a finalist for Best Sustainable Event which is excellent news. They were great Championships and a first class team, and I was proud to have been part of it.

Well done to everyone in our LOC Glasgow Life, UK Athletics and World Athletics, partners Glasgow City Council, EventScotland, UK Sport and The Scottish Government, contractors and suppliers from feasibility and bidding through to the delivery of an amazing event last year.
