Marc Hope (The Winning Tape Ltd) has been recruited by the organising team of WOC 2024, as the Commercial Director to manage our partnerships and complete the commercial programme.
 
With less than 100 days to go until this innovative and exciting event brings the world’s best orienteers to the heart of Scotland’s Capital for five days of elite racing, Marc will be working to bring on-board further cash and budget relieving VIK partners across a range of categories, including exploring the opportunity for a title sponsor.
 
WOC 2024 Event Director, Andy Mitchelmore, said:

“We are delighted to have Marc on the team. Marc’s track record speaks for itself. He has worked on some of the very biggest sporting events in the UK including Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and London 2017 World Athletics and Para Athletics Championships, and brings excellent connections, a wealth of knowledge and huge enthusiasm to the WOC 2024 LOC.”

Additionally, WOC2024 have also retained the services of independent agency, flip, to create and deliver the PR and social media strategy for the event.
