Nissin Foods, the internationally renowned food company, has been named an official global supplier of the inaugural edition of the World Athletics Ultimate Championship and we are thrilled to have negotiated this partnership and welcome them as this amazing season now heads towards The World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest between 11th and 13th September 2026.
This inaugural Ultimate Championship will bring together Olympic champions, world champions, Wanda Diamond League winners and this year’s best performing athletes.
Delivering a world-class championship requires the same dedication from staff and volunteers as it does from athletes. Nissin Foods will ensure that all staff members and volunteers are supported with high-quality, easy-to-prepare meals throughout the event.
Nissin Foods Europe CEO, Olaf Buettner, said:
“We are looking forward to being part of this global championship and playing our small part by supplying one of our latest product innovations, Cup Noodles Soba Protein.”
The company has received numerous awards for its ready meals and instant noodle products. For example, in 2022, Demae Ramen was awarded Top Brand by German food industry paper “Lebensmittelzeitung” in the dry ready-meals category, and Cup Noodles Ramen followed in the same category in 2024. Most recently, Cup Noodles Soba Protein, the product that will be available for the LOC staff and volunteers at the Ultimate Championship, won “Best introduction 2025” by Dutch food industry paper Levensmiddelenkrant.
While Nissin Foods will play a key role in supporting staff and volunteers throughout the championship, the partnership is also built on a shared commitment to bringing people together and helping them achieve their full potential. Nissin Foods and the World Athletics Ultimate Championship are both committed to creating opportunities for people to connect, grow and perform at their best.
